Arati, the offering of light and prayer, is a traditional form of worship performed twice daily in Siddh Yoga ashrams. Swami Muktananda composed this chant in honor of his Guru by combining original verses with shlokas, or verses, from the Upanishads and Kashmir Shaivite texts. Opening with the exhilirating sounds of conches and drums, arati is a soul-stirring experience. This long-awaited recording was made in the Bhagawan Nityananda Temple at Shree Muktananda Ashram.
